The second edition of theHe left the Gaming‘ (Saga) plans to host 5,000 visitors, a figure that would exceed the 3,500 of last year. The event will be held from December 1 to 3 at the Forge of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, in a space of 7,000 square meters. The hall, organized by Platform for the Language with the support of the Generalitat of Catalunyagrows to consolidate itself as the reference event of the videogames in catalan.
Apart from growing in number of days with the intention of welcoming more young audiences, it also does so in activities, putting more emphasis on the educational field with workshops, training offers or the exhibition of professional opportunities. The space wants to claim the inclusion of Catalan in the interface of the video consoles of Nintendo, Xbox and PlayStation.
The organization will expand the space provided for exhibitors (in 2022 there were 50) to bring together representatives from all areas of the video game sector in Catalan. There will be developer companies that will present news in catalangamer associations, clubs, associations of content creators, companies that sell gaming products, training centers, universities, the media or public administrations, among others.
One of the novelties in the exhibition area will be the creation of a space reserved for business and networking, which will also include content on financing public and private projects, as well as specific female mentoring sessions.
Tournaments and ‘podcasts’
The growth of the show will materialize mainly in the space ‘creators‘, from where people who want to can open a direct from their respective channels and learn how to generate content in ‘streaming’; space ‘podcasting‘, located in the central area of the venue and specially designed to host the recording of ‘podcasts’, and the ‘Retrogaming’ space, where you can play consoles and classic games.
As for the spaces that are maintained, the Saga stage will once again be one of the highlights of the room, with the LIOP competitions of the games ‘League of Legends’ and ‘Valorant’or the delivery of the ‘Premis Saga’, foreseeably on Friday, December 1.
Besides, a part of the room will be reserved so that users can play up to 55 continuous hours, 20 more than in the first edition. This part will function as a meeting point for players from all over the Catalan-speaking territory, both amateurs and professionals. Conferences and workshops
