Bangalore There is a change in management at the Amazon subsidiary Twitch. Longtime boss Emmett Shear will resign from his post with immediate effect, the streaming provider announced on Thursday.
“In October 2006 we started working on live video for the web. This became Twitch. More than 16 years later, I’m a father and ready to move into the next phase of my life,” Shear wrote on Twitter. He will be succeeded by Dan Clancy, who has been with the company since 2019. Shear will continue to be available as a consultant.
